R&P Post 46: Second Day of Filming!

Hiya and welcome back! Today we had another day of filming where we filmed the second and third 'levels' of our music video.

So today we filmed the scene showing the couple breaking into a house and for this we used Destinie's house, mainly just showing her living room which is pictured below:

For this scene we filmed the couple picking the lock to the house and then walking in through the hallway, then into the living room which you can see on the left. After they take some random items they hear a noise in the house, leading them to rush out.






After we filmed this scene we then filmed the third level of our music video which is the scene where the couple encounter a mob of people who then attack them and the boy is beaten up badly and ends up on the ground. Unfortunately for this scene we were not able to find any people who were available to play the mob/gang who beat the couple up so myself and Lesley dressed up in all  black clothing with hoodies to play these characters. Although this was a little tricky at first, we soon got into it and overall this scene managed to go fairly smoothly.

Overall today was a successful day. We managed to complete the filming of two scenes and we were more efficient with our time than yesterday as well. From yesterday one of the main things that we learnt was that we need to be more time-efficient so today we decided to meet earlier so we could begin filming earlier and this meant that we had enough time to complete the filming of both of these scenes. As well as this, before we all arrived at Destinie's house to film today we had planned as a group that we would all individually note down different types of shots that we wanted to film. This meant that we had a wide range of shot ideas and could merge them together on set, and also meant that we have plenty of shots for these scenes which will be useful when it comes to editing our music video as we will have more footage to work with. 

Tomorrow we are planning to film our first performance shots at the rooftop at the National Theatre and after this we are going to Streatham, South-West London, to film the first 'level' of our music video showing the shop robbery scene so tomorrow will be an especially busy and exciting day!
