R&P Post 53: First Day of Editing!

Hey there! We have now begun to edit our music video which is very exciting for us as it means that we are now in the process of putting all our footage together! Below you can see some screenshots showing how we are editing our music video through Final Cut:

The image above shows the first part of our editing process and at this point we were just placing our different footage in order of how we wanted it to be.

Here we have a picture showing the beginning of our music video. In this screenshot you can see how we have began to place more footage in order and at this moment we were watching what we had so far to check that all the different clips went together, to reflect on our editing so far.

Above we have an image which shows how we began to edit the beginning of our music video in more detail. Here you can see how we slowed down this particular shot to give it a certain effect to attract our audience to our video more. When filming this shot, we had the intention of slowing it down via editing and so we changed the frames per second on the camera settings to give this shot less frames per second. By doing this when it comes to slowing this shot down via editing, it will make it look more effective.

So now we have started to edit we are in the final stages of producing our music video. So far we have only edited the beginning of our music video but we are now moving on to the other parts. Come back again soon for more editing updates!
