Analysing Lyrics and Their Meanings:

• "You know you make me feel so alive"- This particular lyric will actually be contradictory of our music video because, due to the fact that our idea for our music video is based in a virtual world, essentially nothing within it is actually real. However, in order to make this clear to our audience we will need to find a way to successfully portray this lack of reality replaced with a virtual world. We could do this by creating costumes and finding different locations or perhaps creating our own sets that have an element of surrealism to them, or that are perhaps based off some well-known video games.
• "I just wanna hold you"- Here we have a lyric that suggests one of the main elements that we plan to include in our video which is romance. The lyric "I just wanna hold you" implies that the two characters starring in our music video are in a romantic relationship, meaning that our music video can focus on this particular aspect and explore how the relationship between the two characters progresses throughout the video. This would give our video more of a narrative, making it more interesting and engaging for our audience. 
• "You are the solution"- Again, this is another lyric which heavily indicates that this song and the music video for it is all about the romantic relationship between a couple. It also suggests that they are inseparable from one another and because the girl in the music video is also going to be our artist, it suggests that her character sees the boy she is in love with as an answer to all her problems, hence him being the 'solution'. This will really emphasise the narrative of our video and provide further insight into our characters and their relationship with each other. 
• "Every time we touch we can set the world on fire"- This lyric relates to our idea that the couple in our music video could be troublemakers together. We thought that in this virtual world, the boy teams up with the girl and not only do they fall in love, but they also commit crimes and have fun together, causing trouble around different places, in similarity to the historically famous couple Bonnie and Clyde. This will hopefully make our music video more interesting for our audience because as we are aiming our video at young people and teenagers, they tend to like things that are related to romance and this will be included in our video, but we will also have a slight twist to this romance in that our couple commit crimes together and create trouble, adding another dimension to their characters as well as our music video itself.
• "I never thought I'd meet someone like you"- In terms of the content of our music video, this particular lyric could represent how the romantic relationship between our two characters is not actually real. The boy in the video is actually just playing a virtual reality game and the girl is a just an avatar that he teams up with as part of the game. Thus, this lyric brings our audience back to the realisation that what they can see on screen is not actually true, placing a twist on our narrative.

From studying the lyrics to our chosen song more carefully, what I have found is that we need to pay attention to certain lyrics because they could actually relate specifically to our music video itself. This task has also helped me look deeper into the meaning of individual lyrics and given me and my group more ideas for how we can relate specific sections of our music video to specific lyrics.
